I do have pride in this country, but aren't we, AS AMERICANS, allowed to voice our opinions? My ancestors came from this land, can you say the same? I had to laugh when you told me to get out because this land is SACRED to me and I'm sure that's a hell of a lot more than it means to you. If you want to follow some old, archaic notion of what it means to be an American, then by all means follow it. But that doesn't mean that everyone else has to as well. People LIKE YOU are so sheltered and consciously ignorant when it comes to the atrocities the US government has and CONTINUES to commit. Do you ever wonder why the rest of the world hates America? Trust me, its not because of our freedoms as followers like you like to say. Its because our government only shows us what they want us to see, not the shady dealings behind the curtain. Boy, your name sure does say a lot! This to me proves you know absolutely NOTHING about Indigenous people. You think genocide is a thing of the past? Visit a reservation! You think Native Americans like "living off" the government? Ask one! Genocide, physical and cultural is happening to this very day. Just look at the energy policies of the US that allow big corporations to mine for uranium on reservations without the proper safety procedures, or the federally-managed Indian Health Service that forcibly sterilizes Native women or tests non-FDA approved drugs on children. Is that what you mean by "not happening anymore"? Get a clue and read a damn newspaper! And btw, yes we did "sell off" what we had, but those are actually called TREATIES..You know, where one party agrees to give something to the other party that gives something else away. The extreme lack of knowledge you have about Tribes in the US is what is truly sickening.
