Well, I think the caller said he *thought* he had a weapon, then said he didn't KNOW if he had a weapon or not. Either way, if you're being held against your will, wether the dude is 5'5 or not, I'm sure it can be pretty scary!! Some people can be beaten to a bloody pulp by just fists, and die! Look at that Jersey's housewife's boyfriend...he died outside a club after being beat up to death! that in itself, is scary!
