I live in Texas. This doesn't just happen to the gays - it happens to everyone. I'm a white female with a cop for a brother, and I have still had police be pretty disrespectful to me, and beat the crap out of my husband, for just running his mouth. It doesn't take much to get them heated here. PEREZ, JUST BECAUSE THEY'RE GAY DOESN'T MEAN IT WAS A HATE CRIME. Gays can get into trouble too.

YOU voted for him Perez. He never said he supported gay marriage. He hasn't lied. Instead, you bashed Sarah Palin because she flat out said she didn't support gay marriage, and Obama just said that it's not his decision, but in his opinion, he didn't support it either. You chose to ignore that, as well as a lot of other gays and lesbians. You were a big Obama supporter. Now all you do is talk crap about him. Maybe you should have done some research on him first to see where his views were. He never acted like he even cared about gay marriage. Thats why I never understood why you were so for him, and talked crap about the other candidates that were not in support of gay marriage. Plus, like Janebird said, there are many other more important things to take care of right now. He can't just get in office in January, then make his first priority the gays and lesbians. We have people dying in Iraq, but you'd rather him put his priority on letting you get married first, before worrying about pulling out of Iraq? Quit being so damn selfish and give him time.
