It's the same revelation that a country girl/boy would get after visiting a big city. It's like visiting a different country. I think people forget that we are comprised of 50 states, all completely different from one another with different laws, accents, ways of life. If you've grown up in Los Angeles and then go visit West Texas, you're going to be SHOCKED. And it might even creep you out. Abilene anyone? Kinda scary....

My thoughts exactly. I had that same revelation when I did a cross country road trip a few years ago. I guess that makes me an asshole in Perez' eyes, but whatever.
