on Yeehaw! It's Time To Praise Jesus! at 12:08 01/10/2009This isn't really news. I grew up around rodeo, they've always had cowboy church. These guys are on a tour, and wake up hundreds of miles away from their hometowns. They have service at the rodeo grounds to give rodeo cowboys an opportunity to attend church when it would otherwise be impossible to be an active member anywhere else. They sit in the stands and have worship, don't make it sound so hillbilly. For some people it isn't about "religion". You don't need an alter to stay true to what you believe.

on Sarah Palin's Still Deluded - Jealous Of Kennedy! at 10:24 01/09/2009 as a reply on the comment by I Like MyselfAnd for the record, I NEVER said Kennedy was running, I said she wasn't running for VP, that she was up for an important job. My comments were not even about Kennedy's qualifications, there are two points to this story, the one I was commenting on was about her claims that she was exploited by comics. You brought Kennedy into it when you asked why there isn't a Kennedy skit. If you had 2 A list celebrities at an awards show, and one said something strange or funny live on TV, the other just read the cue cards, GUESS which celebrity is going to be spoofed on SNL. The more relevant one of course. It's comedy, not a news show, they don't have to give equal attention. They go for what's funny. She needs to laugh it off. Everyone should. The election is over.

on Sarah Palin's Still Deluded - Jealous Of Kennedy! at 10:00 01/09/2009 as a reply on the comment by I Like MyselfAnd my point is just that, the Kennedy story is not as relevant as Sarah Palin when it comes to SNL. Being up for appointment is a far cry from being in peoples television sets each night convincing them your capable of leading this country...that's why there isn't a Kennedy skit.

on Sarah Palin's Still Deluded - Jealous Of Kennedy! at 09:58 01/09/2009 as a reply on the comment by I Like MyselfOh, and I guess I'm not the only one who's naive. Maybe you should do some more homework because she did in fact say she could see Russia from her house. She followed up on that in a later interview explaining why she said it that way. Tina Fey based her comedy on how Sarah answered her questions. Of course there are exaggerations of accent, and mannerisms, etc., that's comedy. She needs to get over it and use this time to do something good with her career, rather than making a fool of herself by whining about her loss.

on Sarah Palin's Still Deluded - Jealous Of Kennedy! at 09:54 01/09/2009 as a reply on the comment by I Like MyselfI watched it for myself, just like I watched all of her interviews, and debates, and made my decision based on that. There is one specific answer, that yes, Fey quoted verbatim. Not everything in the script of course. I've heard Biden screw up, I've heard Obama screw up, they all have. The fact remains that if you're going put yourself out there, pull up your big girl panties when they make fun of you and take the loss like a woman. The blame game is so lame. Bush said moronic things but he still got elected, why? He was able to convince Americans he was qualified. If Sarah Palin can't let her politics shine through despite the comedic sketches, she's obviously not fit for the job. Period. I respect your right to your opinion, but we'll have to agree to disagree on that one.
