Hello All. Lately I have been paying attention to prop 8. I am not here to yell at anyone. Everyone has there own views and opinions. I am from Canada. Here we have gay marriage. For the most part things are normal. I have yet to hear about any problems about gay marriage. Churches here do NOT have to accept gay marriage. I am a lesbian. I have been for about 2.5 years. For those who think all gay people should die ( and there are some out there) or that we do not deserve to get married please read. I do not choose to be gay. Thats for sure. My partner and I openly say if we had a choice we would be straight. Things are so much easier. I personally do not wanna get married. I think it would be weird. If I do it will be just a reception party for everyone to have a good time and I will just go to the city to get it legalized. This whole prop 8 thing has be scared to death. When I came out not a lot of people gave me a hard time, but reading the comments everywhere about gay people and the harsh words makes me wish even more I was straight. I'm so scared its all going to go back to the ways of killing gays. This is the direction it is slowly going to head if people continue to be like this. Im not saying if you dont agree that your a bad person. Just remember we dont choose this, and I probably speak for every gay person out there that if we had the choice we'd be straight because its easier. Sorry for the long rant.
