Poor girl has asthma & so do I, certainly not something to joke about....and to you folks having the discussion about Advair...I agree that different med affect people differently HOWEVER I have had issues with ADVAIR myself. I have asthma but its severity varies depending on the time of year and the allergens circulating in the air. I have been on Advair and it does work great while you're taking it but if you ever try to get off of it or miss a couple of doses, you're screwed. My asthma symptoms went crazy and I even lost my voice for about 4 weeks. I now try to control my asthma without the use of advair, by using a nebulizer & a proventil inhaler when necessary. Different strokes for different folks but Advair does have its drawbacks.
