Is there really such a thing as a normal childhood anymore???? I mean really, everyone in this world has their own perception of what is normal and that's all that really matters. In other words, what's normal to you, may not be normal to me and vice versa. We do what works for ourselves, regardless of our sexual preference... or race... or religion... or gender... etc...

As a heterosexual female (and my husband will happily confirm that), I do believe in equal rights for gays and lesbians. In my own PERSONAL opinion (for the ignorant morons out there), I believe that in some instances they might make better parents, as they will teach their children about tolerance and unconditional love, while heterosexual parents may teach their children ignorance and love when it is convenient. I am not saying that ALL heterosexual parents are bad parents, but let's get real people, you never hear about a gay man shaking it's infant child to death or a lesbian drowning her kids cause she's insane... If this country wants change, then we need to ALL stop judging each other for our differences and use those differences together to make this country what everyone has been made to believe for ages.... that WE ARE THE GREATEST COUNTRY IN THIS WORLD!!! By the way, on this Thanksgiving Day holiday, may you have lots to be thankful for and may your bellies be stuffed with delicious food!!! Happy Thanksgiving and much Peace and Love to all!!
