Actually, "Head Turner," we don't know that she won't go on welfare. This woman has no real game plan for how she is going to make money. She obviously has not done her research if she thinks earning a Master's in Counseling is going to make her enough money to support herself, 14 children, and pay back her student loans. And, usually it is more effective to make an educated point rather than to hide behind her "rights" and then call everyone a welfare recipient.
Unfortunately we won't be able to "just ignore it" becuase we will be paying for her welfare. She says she won't accept it, but there is no way she can afford to care for those children herself. Student loans for grad school will barely cover her rent, let alone anything her children need. And, there's no way she will make it through a Master's program with 14 children. I have a Master's in Counseling as well and people in this field generally do not make that much money even if she is able to get through all of her coursework, practica, and is able to pass a licensure examination.
I think that it's interesting that she is pursuing a Master's in Counseling when she openly admits that she is having these children to fill a void in her own life brought on by her childhood. What is she thinking? She should realize that what she is doing is going to damage her own children even more than she was damaged by her "lonely" upbringing. And, it's interesting to note that she refuses to accpet welfare but has no problem going to her friends and family for financial support. The fertility clinic who implanted her should be sued, and she should be sterilized.
