on Dropping the Catchphrase at 22:52 09/22/2008As for taking out his catch phrase, if it's not working in the movie, it's not working bottom line. The problem with James Bond as of late is not the "cheesy catch phrases", it's Hollywood's need to bastardize films. As this article states James Bond is an Ian Flemming creation. The Bronson films were written, and I use the term loosely, scripts. The good James Bond movies have been based on the Ian Flemming books. "Quantum of Solace", is another Ian Flemming book, so it is going to be good. People need to get past who is starring in the movie, and the catch phrases, and enjoy this movie because it is going to be a killer film. Why can't people just enjoy a movie on it's merits. Considering it is rare to see any new idea's coming out of Hollywood, all you get is sequels and remakes of movies that weren't good in the first place. Or my personal favorite, lame TV shows made into movies. Although this one is a sequel, at least I know I can count on Ian Flemming literary brilliance. I am excited to watch a good movie, that is written well, with solid acting. Can't wait for that first opening scene!

on Dropping the Catchphrase at 22:52 09/22/2008I can't believe people are still on the Daniel Craig is not James Bond. Bullshit. Mr Craig is a great actor, and has done a lot of great movies. Typically action movie actors are great actors right, yeah. People need to stop hating because he did a great job. Who gives a shit if he's blond, people are just being stupid about it. He has the rugged looks that most actors who played the role have had. They put pretty boy Bronson in there and people expect that now. Considering his movies were some of the worst in Bond history, people need to get over it.
