What a load of crap. I think the lawsuit should be thrown out. HIS DEATH WAS A DIRECT RESULT OF DRUG ADDICTION. For those of you saying that he HAD to take the drugs for the pain...I'm calling BS. There ARE pain meds that are non narcotic. Trust me. He had the choice to take something else and deal with mild pain.
Crap movie. Watched it online yesterday...thank God I didn't waste my money. It's not scary at all. There are a few parts that make you jump...not cause your scared but only because there is a loud unexpected noise.
A lot of people got suckered in by the hype in with the commercial and the limited release in only certain cities and only midnight showings.
There really has not been a good scary movie in a while. This one was too bland, most are too over the top.
Using your logic of why take-out servers should get tips then we should also tip to fast food. The first person takes your order and any specific changes you want...hold the pickles, etc. Then someone else cooks the food and packages it (ok that's stretching it....they wrap it up in paper.) Another person takes your money usually while taking someone elses order. This is usually the person who also gets you more ranch dressing, ketchup, napkins, extra straws, etc.
If I go into a restaurant to eat and the service is average then they get an average tip. I tip based on the service I receive. And I do try to keep in mind that, hey, if it's a busy night it may take a little longer. There have also been times that the tip the waitress received was a nice little note telling her to find a new job.
Tips should not be expected. I knew a guy who would figure out how much his 20% tip would be before he ordered and would write the number down. As the night went on he would deduct for his drink being empty for so long, or his waiter disappearing to go smoke, etc.
Be GRATEFUL that you receive tips, not bitch that you don't.
Look, I get it. It's disappointing to go into work and not make what you think you should have. I have worked at several different restaurants. There were nights I came home with what could have equaled over $20/hour with my tips. There were also nights were I would bring home almost nothing.
That is why I do not work at restaurants anymore. If you don't like the pay of $2.13/hour + tips then FIND A NEW JOB. PERIOD. I remember so many of my friends complaining about their pay but they needed the job cause of school and the hours. Well, you may not like it but there are other places, like Walmart, that are open 24 hours, almost always hiring and pay min wage.
OK...everyone listen up! TIPPING IS NOT REQUIRED! I don't give a shit if Outback (or insert any other restaurant here) doesn't pay you min wage. YOU decided to work that job. Similar to those people who work on commission only. It is a chance you are taking, you may get a super tip from one table and nothing from the next.
IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT THEN FIND A NEW JOB. If you want to make min wage working for a restaurant then you need to fight it.
There are times that I tip very well depending on where I am and how my service was. Websters defines TIP as " a gift or a sum of money tendered for a service performed or anticipated" What were the first 2 words in that...A GIFT!
I don't tip for take out...ever. I tip for delivery but I don't if they charge me a delivery charge.
And I saw someone who said "Tip whenever people serve you." Do you realize how stupid that sounds. Should I tip the guy at the toll booth cause he lifted the gate for me after I paid? Should I tip the checker at walmart cause they bagged my items? What about the guy at the deli cause he sliced my meat?
