Perez, dear... There was a Tintin show on freaking NICKELODEON about 10 years ago. You're not much older than I am so I don't know how you've never seen it. Don't go making rash comments like "guess it's a baby boomer thing" because it embarrasses the rest of us who are actually intellectual and cultured.
Y'know... I'm definitely an Obama fan and love the idea of having fun at his speech, however...
This is not going to do ANYTHING for his reputation as a "worldwide celebrity", according to the Republicans. McCain will just childishly rub this whole thing in Obama's face.
That being said, this cover is pretty awesome. Like Mandy Moore's cover of "Umbrella", he took it in a much more raw direction, and really made it melodic. I love it. I now dislike Jesse McCartney a wee bit less :)
Y'know.. this could've been avoided if she didn't decide to spend the entirety of her performance running laps around the stage. It was bound to happen. Love the girl, but get some dance moves or something.. or rock the mic.. This isn't a track meet, dear.
