Latino is used to describe Latin American countries, particulartly, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Cuba and Venenzuela. They are mixed of many cultures, spanish, italian, french, middle eastern, indian and african. It's that combination that has created the Latin culture that we now. A latin person can be as white as Cameron Diaz and a black as Celia Cruz. Penelope is Spanish... she's European or hispanic. Whether spanish people are considered white ust like Italians is debatable to me. They might be accepted as white but they are not white. They are mixed with middle eastern and gypsies and if you dig deep they have african blood in them.

This is exactly what I thought when they were spewing the "protecting the sanctity of marriage" crap. If they really wanted to do that they would've never allowed for people to divorce. If divorce has been accepted then so can gay marriage, period. Both things are unholy or whatever they wanna call it.
