Saw Kylie last night at the Hollywood Bowl...she was AMAZING...put on the greatest concert and unlike American singers...she ACTUALLY sings her music live....no lip synching.....so to the idiot that said she is D-List....that's only in America baby, in the rest of the world, and in my heart, she is A-List all the way....Too bad Americans are too mesmorized by all the rap and shit music played on American radio...there is a whole world of music out there that isn't top 10 radio play....broaden your horizons people....I'd see Kylie again tonight if possible...it was that good!!! Kylie....you Rock!

As with most modern day remakes...this one SUCKS folks...save you money...rent the original or the TV series....When is Hollywood going to wake up and realize that remakes are a bad idea, they have ruined just about everything out there, Willy Wonka, Halloween, The Poseidon Adventure, and the list goes on and on and on.....stick with the originals kiddies...they are always better...at least the originals had stories, characters and good writing...all three are sorely lacking in today's Paint by numbers Hollywood. Very sad that todays kids have to be handed this crap on a plate over and over....

I have to agree with everyone else here Perez! You really missed the boat on this one. First of all the Streisand version was NO classic. In fact it was the THIRD time this movie had been made...the first with Janet Gaynor...the Second and of course the BEST and the only one to be called classic...is the JUDY GARLAND version...as most critics of the time noted...the Streisand version was terrible...it sucked in the 70's and it sucks today...NEVER has this movie been considered a classic...and Beyonce could only improve on the Streisand version...not hurt it...Don't get me wrong...I love Barbra....and some of her movies...What's up Doc, Yentl etc...but this one is so horrible that it's not even bad in a good campy way......If A Star is Born was ever butchered it was by Warner Brothers when they fucked up the 1954 version by editing the Hell out of it just to please theater owners...eventually costing Judy Garland the Oscar award....
