Being transgender is one thing, but this dudette simply looks like a transvestite. Not a good example to show people who thinks transgendered people are freaks. Think about it - there are SO many people that think being transgendered is something disgusting and immoral and no offense to someone who I'm sure is lovely, but this picture is not going to change their minds...

I would never dismiss the Bible, I believe it is God's word. As a Christian, who has studied the Bible, I believe that Jesus would not condemn people for being gay. I do not know how different the mormon bible is, so I'm not going to pretend I do but I know that in the Bible I read there are no more than 6 mentions of anything that could be considered homosexual. Half are in the OT and are mixed in with laws about not having sex with your wife while she's on her period or mixed fabric textures. Those who believe in Jesus believe we aren't held by the Jewish law. In the NT, Paul mentions homosexual SEX but never a relationship. In Romans, he is writing after traveling the medeterranean(sp) and seeing loads of temples to god/goddesses of love/passion/fertility and the deprave acts people commited to them. There is no proof he is really talking about a loving relationship between 2 men/2 women. As far as corinthians/timothey goes the actual greek words lean more towards the condemnation of marrie dmen taking young boy prostitutes. These are all interpretations, just like the church's condemnation of homosexuality is an interpretation. Again, I'm not Mormon I'm a Christian so I'm not trying to say that this is what you believe.

Civil unions, even when they give the same rights, are "separate but equal" ... it was wrong in the 60s and it's wrong now.
