I think it was totally scripted. If she wasn't told she couldn't drink then she can't get fired for it. She could get a warning but not fired. Also, if Stephanie said Heidi and Spencer never drink, why would Heidi suddenly get wasted at an important event. Total Set Up, just like Teen Vogue.

I'm so sorry to hear that, it's really sad that in this day in age people still feel as though they have the right to tell other people who they are allowed to love. On a day when we take one step forward and unfortunately two steps back:(
