Her "rise to fame from nothing"? Really? Aside from depression, she lived a charmed life. She divorced her husband and decided to live off of what we in the US would consider welfare while she finished her Master's Degree. During her time on welfare she wrote Harry Potter.
So yeah, if you consider a woman living off of the government BY CHOICE, while working on a graduate degree "nothing" then you're completely right.
Did it work out? Yeah. Really well. She's an incredible woman.
But let's not pretend she was living on the street, or was without any job opportunities. She chose to live off of the government to further her writing/career.
Look, I would LOVE to hear those tapes. If nothing else, just to know (for sure) that both of her parent's actually talk to and rely upon each other. Not to mention, it would solidify what we already assume to know about Lindsay's problems.
At the same time, were Michael to actually release those tapes, I would just think less of him, and I would feel that much worse for Lindsay. And even though I understand what he is trying to do, I would hate him for embarrassing his daughter like that.
Aids? Did you mean AIDS? A very small editory change, but a very important one.
Also, "some of which have passed away due to Aids [sic]." Was that statement relevant in any way? Are you insinuating that a movie about kids who act, sing, and dance, is directly related to people who die from complications from AIDS?
I'm not a Madonna fan, but this song is enjoyable. It's fun, danceable, and catchy.
Is it her most memorable song? ABSOLUTELY NOT.
BUT, it's a fun song to dance to. It's a song that I enjoy more than any other song she's put out in a while.
I actually appreciate it for being a very obviously surface-pop song.
Most of the songs that I absolutely LOVE take a few listens before I actually enjoy them. The good thing about them is that after growing to love them, I love them forever, and I find something new in them every time I listen.
REVOLVER is not one of those songs. However, REVOLVER is a song that I enjoyed during my first listen, and one that I would immediately have fun dancing to. This is also rare.

And, can I just say that you are totally and completely insane.
