I stand by my comment. So, Katherine Heigl's White Parents adopted her sister from Korea. Again, the White folks (her parents) viewing Asian babies the "ideal minority" (look up the concept of ideal minority and you'll understand why I made the point that I made; learned it in grad school at Columbia and stand by its relevance).

If you are of color, you should support our communities "unhealthy" babies being adopted. If you're not of color, then let me say that as a man of color, it's disheartening how much White folks invest thousands (sometimes tens of thousands of dollars) in adopting an Asian baby from another country rather than giving a little American Boy or American girl a chance. I'm not stating that Black or Latino babies are better than Asians. I'm pointing out how much money, time, and investment White folks are willing to put themselves through rather than seeing that a Black or Latino baby as being just as lovable and precious as an Asian child.
And as for your "STFU" response, my first comment was my opinion just like you have your opinion. Throwing in the STFU comment just shows how mature you are. Mature, real mature.

Beautiful baby. However, why is the Asian baby preferred over Black or Latino babies amongst White people? What? Orphaned babies of color in this country aren't good enough for you White folks? Love the Sex in the City movie but hated the fact that Charlotte's character adopted an Asian girl from another country as opposed to getting a baby of color here. I guess the old saying still stands. The Asian baby (amongst White folks) is still the new Prada bag!
