on $85 Billion Bailout at 09:31 09/17/2008Their bankruptcy would cripple our economy because of the ripple effect it would have. The loan is against their assets, so the taxpayers aren't at risk for that money being lost. This is a good thing for the economy. There's plenty of actual bad things the government is doing. Bitch about that, not this.
