Isn't is sad that we bemoan the lives of a few furry animals, but don't seem to care about the lives of the unborn? This is a sick sad world. Go ahead and say "science has proven that babies aren't self aware until a few weeks after conception." I would say that even if this continues to hold true, aren't we ignoring the fact that the glob of DNA inside of a womb WILL be a human being? But we just want to cry about the poor furry animals, which too many of us value as much as a human life.

Sigh... So, Perez, only the cuddly, cute animals deserved to be saved? The speech I really "love" comes from animal rights activists that care as much, if not more, for the life of an animal than the life of a human being. We really should pay more attention to all the messed up stuff we are doing to PEOPLE! When the whole Michael Vick thing went down, the first person I thought about was Leonard Little. Plays defensive end for the St. Louis Rams as we speak, yet was found guilty of VEHICULAR MANSLAUGHTER. He was only suspended for half the season, which, in case you have half a brain cell free to figure this out, is much less than the penalty issued to Vick for the cruel killing of ANIMALS. To say that what Vick did alright is ignorant, but it shows how much we focus on "cuddly little animals" over the rights of human beings in America. Backwards.

What contradictory remarks. For people who claim to want "peace and love", you want a guy to rot in the slammer? I'm waiting for the backlash from this comment, but the only just judge is God. One day, we will all have to face that justice, you, me and everyone. So, go ahead and smear a guy who has had a spotless prison term for twenty odd years. Chances are he is living a better life than any of us. Look in the mirror, people.
