ok so the irish dont hate every individual british person, but it still offends 99 percent of irish people to be called british....or if ur scottish aswell lol. and saying people arent hostile to the people theyve warred with is bull. there will always be hostility between to countries that go to war. maybe not between the two representatives of those countries who meet, but deffo between the people on the street and hang flags out their windows. if u think theres no hostility ur blind.

Ok, just because Ireland is a small country beside England, I as an Irish person can understand why people sometimes get it mixed up. But just to clear it up from OUR side....Irish people find it offensive to be mixed up with British. Anyone who thinks its ok confuse us with the country who opressed us for 800 years is a retard.
