I saw Carrie when it first appeared on Broadway. Amazing cast (Betty Buckley, Lindzie Hately, Darleen Love), amazing music. The problem was in the production. The direction was horrid, the special effects dumb, and Debbie Allen's choreography looked like "Fame" reject dances. If they can fix the production problems, the show might me good.
