It is a phrase I have used, myself, since childhood. I can't believe how sensitive everyone is. She didn't create the stereotype, wikipedia it, and you will see. Those who think that they are offended by this statement, don't go living in the real world where there are more important things going on to worry about. You would have an aneurysm.
Mabye if we weren't spending 10 billion frivilously in Iraq each month, we could use that to help. But what do I know, I am only in the military, seeing it all first-hand. I smell a depression.
In the business that she is in, when you make a concert date you keep it. If I had bought a ticket for a concert that got cancelled and I had taken leave for it, or made specific plans around it, I would be CRAZY pissed. I would maybe be understanding lest there be a VIABLE excuse, but "indisposed" many times is applied to people taking a dump. So....this must be a big one.
