There are pictures of the party. The issue isn't whether or not she or her people called the paps. That's common and it is done for promotion. I mean, if the production spends money on the party one of the main positives is to get the paps to take pictures, get some glossies to print it, and by work of magic you get some cheap PR, i.e. "Ghost Whisperer" star celebrated her birthday blah, blah, blah. This stuff is common. It happens every day of every week. The problem is how disingeous Perez is being about this crap. He does it with every celebrity he doesn't like.

They were so concerned about keeping the party under wraps she called the paparazzi? Your story doesn't make any damn sense. Sounds like some underling was pissed they didn't get invited. $1500 is a drop in the bucket for a production company.
