There was an excellent comedy that ran in Australia called House Gang and starred people with down syndrome. It was a hilarious show and the actors were talented and brilliant with their comedic timing. Their 'disability' was not addressed as a disability, and it was about them going through their everyday lives and loves. Positive, 'real' depictions such as this should help to shed prejudice and fear. There is no good reason why they can't enter the public arena and help dismiss myths and bad judgement. I'm very happy that Andrea is speaking out and throwing off the veil of taboo! I hope to see (and hear) a lot more of her!
More dumbing down, more superficial uselessness... and this garbage is taking jobs away from creatives and musicians (for MTV). The makings of a shallow, toxic culture. Once upon a time, MTV was a progressive, exciting network that helped to promote TRUE artists. This is tragic. What a terrible era this 'reality' age is. So uninspiring...
I guess he was just too genuine and too talented... Dustin was (and is) a breath of fresh air. I have heard he has a new movie coming out with Ben Affleck and Jason Bateman, so we fans can still watch this gorgeous man!
