on Sarah Palin Does Saturday Night Live! at 16:21 10/19/2008 as a reply on the comment by chiteachWow...what a cop out. Rather than counter what I had to say with more argument of your own for me to think about, you're going to grab onto the one closing line in which I mention that so far, I'm not going to vote. It's my right. I'm registered, but I'm just don't like either side right now, so I've decided that I don't have to support either. I'll still probably trek on down to the elementary school gymnasium to vote, but, I don't see why I should have to feel compelled to vote for someone when I don't want to vote for either. I've watched all of the debates and interviews, read both of the websites (every page no less- I doubt you could claim the same), looked into the histories, and my pros and cons lists are even. So, unless something big happens in the next few weeks, I doubt that view will change much. Are you saying that I'm wrong in looking at both sides with scrutiny before considering a vote in one direction or the other? Or would you rather I follow blindly with unchallenged political dogma and vote by affiliation like most "Democrats" or "Republicans" (assuming that I actually had an affiliation)? In my opinion, it's a lot easier not to be an independent. At least then you don't have to think.
