i'm from CHARLOTTE-NC and I, for one, would like to say that i am completely ashamed of Virginia Foxx, Sue Myrick, Jesse Helms, Elizabeth Dole, and the whole lot of idiots that have represented us ... we do have a few shining stars (Bev Perdue and Kay Hagan) so progress is happening... NC is currently the ONLY southern state which has NOT passed a referendum defining marriage as strictly between a man and a woman... so all us Tarheels who care about equality and human rights can at least be proud of that.
