I'm so tired of hearing how redneck/hillbilly/backwoods people from the south are. I'm an Arkansas girl born and raised and I now live in Chicago. I can tell you that there is nothing like Southern Hospitality. People believe what they want to believe and obviously those in power feel that it's wrong to put a child into a gay/lesbian home. What most of you seem to forget is that those people don't make the final decision. If you don't agree, get out and vote against it. But quit talking shit about a place and people you know nothing about. There are very intelligent, successful, creative people from Arkansas. Those of you calling us "backwards crackwhore overall wearing rednecks" are no better than the people trying to pass this bill. Judging people you don't know. Grow up, do something to change it and quit bitching!!!
