While the CONVENIENCE FACTOR is high for acquiring music, itunes, WalMart, and their kind have no interest in DEVELOPING an artist. That is what he's talking about. So unless you can guarantee that you'll make a lot of money for the conglomerates, they will kill the artist development industry. That's why record companies aren't signing the small artist. I enjoy the digital age and access to music, but the business has changed and it's not all for the better. Talk to the artists. Don't just piss on them cause you can't download their shizz.
