I understand being a protective mother...but this is beyond the pale...she is an ENABLER...here's the definition of that: "people who are emotionally dependent on narcissists. Narcissists surround themselves with codependents etc as they tend to work beyond healthy (and sometimes ethical) limits to do whatever the narcissist needs. Narcissists crave power and codependents etc crave security, so they are drawn to one another" Hmmm....would that be like, getting pills or blow for your daughter?? Turning a blind eye to her problems because it would show that you are NOT the best mother in the world?? Lindsey is headed down the path of Marilyn Monroe, her IDOL, and the poor girl has probably deluded herself into thinking that it will allow her the iconic status of Marilyn. But it WON'T...she will be just another victim of Hollywood and we will shake our heads and forget her in a few years. But Dina has another daughter. Ever hear the phrase "history repeats itself?"
