This is the prime example why 'some' churches are so corrupt. Ok, so let me get this straight, the people follow orders, the church MAKES them repent and disclose information like this, and the people of this church pay money to a "business" that is tax exempt? It seems to me like the church is picking and choosing who they want to represent the church OR ELSE. I would take the OR ELSE on this one. I would hope that if this crazy priest does only harm to himself and the church that he represents, that is complete CONTROL and BRAINWASHING, unconstitutional, and just plain wrong. Its no wonder people have such fucked up Christian views on things, Churches need to be more progressive with the times..PERIOD. How dare a church even touch on this subject. my prediction, is that this man will apologize, lose his position, or this church will FALL...

wow, actually when you have something that you cherish(marriage) and you think it is so sacred, than wouldn't you want everyone else to experience the same thing? seriously, ask yourself that, because if you don't want other people to experience the same thing that you cherish so much, and only want a certain group of people to experience that, guess what that makes you? YOU GOT IT!! a bigot. Love is something that I have in my heart and wouldwant everyone to experience that same feeling, If I were to dictate who "deserves" it, that would make me a small minded human being, not to mention a bigot. When we experience wonderful things in our lives, we should want to share them, not keep them from people. "allowing" (which the term itself is so disrespectful in my opinion) gay people to get married would NEVER take anything away from you, and if you feel that it would, that you really should tell other people who drive the same car as you that they should not be allowed to buy it because it "lowers' your social status...give me a break. open your mind. your opinions are so 19th century. its about sharing, not taking something away, you selfish,egotistical person!!

Reading some of the responses on here from DB's like "PunkyBrewstein" or "Fags should be smoked" (which by the way. .nice names)!! really entertains me, when they make rude as remarks towards Perez. These are the same guys (or gals) that get on this blog and comment on everything, and still manage to insult Perez day in and day out, but obviously can't stop reading the blog and then commenting. If you don't like Perez, seek out another sight to which you could battle your closeted homophobic feelings towards someone else.
