In case you were not informed, uttering the vile things you did is considered a hate crime in Canada. We recognise such utterances as violent and that they incite further reactionary violence (wrong but mitigated). As for MJ, clearly perceived power and the pretence of living large has gone to your head. You have forgotten there are some things you think and share with intimates and others that you can share widely. Unfortunately you have wondered into that ugly territory where one feels above it all, and now I feel like I need to stay away from you, so as not to tacitly endorse the vile things that you say and do. Given that you have trained others to mimic your own brand of sophomoric reporting style (not a put down just a descriptor, the “American Pie” of blogs); please for your own sake and that of your career- GO SIT DOWN for a minute. Get a good counsellor, one who will not tell you what you want to here. Work though whatever you’re going though and get some perspective on your life. Heck, I even invite you to take your respite here in Montreal. There are some great, affordable mental health clinics here and our “Village” is no longer a necessary refuge, but rather, a proud cultural landmark.

Moreover, the fact is that lighting can throw folks off their blocking or pose a risk of injury, it is a big deal. Given the fees these folks command, basic professional performance should be expected and demanded.
When all goes wrong folks won’t say “Oh the lighting guy was bad”. No they will take a great deal of pleasure in breaking out the hateraid and tearing down Beyonce.
At worst her behaviour could be called passive aggressive, but I call it a funny wake up call to someone who should know and do better. Hers is not a new show. The tech person would have had a well worked prompt book to follow and should be called out for this.
I realise that the business of gossip is perpetuated on innuendo and half truths, but once you get the point that you are earning a living by regurgitating the information by publishing it, I think you bear the responsibility of checking your facts.
