She may be an alcoholic drug user but I think she is also mentally ill and potentially a danger to herself and possibly others. Its a terrible time for her but the sooner she gets help, or is forced to get help, the better off her chances are of making at least a partial recovery. Steve-O was forced to go to a mental hospital and he's been doing well. He probably takes medication every day and he's been sober for a long time now. The same type of thing seems to need to happen to Lindsay.

So would you say Lindsay Lohan is deep and has actually "had things actually occur to her" to have a breakdown? Does that somehow make someone like her better than Paris? I'm confused... Going crazy is a very serious medical issue that people often don't ever fully recover from. Paris has had plenty happen to her (this website is even named after her!) and, to her credit, she still doesn't seem destined to end up in a loony bin.
