Being from Alabama, I have to say that I am extremely embarrassed about this. Most people in AL are kind and considerate when it comes to gays & lesbians, but there are many of those close minded asses around too...most of them are in office, sadly. I dont know how they made it there, but I'll do my best not to let them back in!
