Yo PEREZ! Please understand that thyroid disease is an autoimmune disease and it is HORRIBLE! Don't make light of it by saying "the ever popular thyroid disease". I was personally insulted by that. I suffered with joint aches, losing my hair and gaining 55 pounds in less than a year. It took 4 diffferent doctors to find out that I had this disease. AFter being diagnosed I finally lost the weight. People with thyroid disease have a hard time with cholesterol and CELLULITE! I was practically starving myself before being diagnosed and I would either stay the same weight or gain. She is incredibly lucky to be in the shape that she is in with thyroid disease. It will be a life long battle.
