Things are not always as they seem. There are two sides to the story. John is right but I TOTALLY get Kate's concerns. I wish they could just work it out or at least be mature about this. I feel bad for the kids. They are cute and from what I see from tv Kate and John were good parents if not great parents. They need to stop being media whores though and do what is best for their family

Even if they have an agreement between the two of them, that is in SUCH bad taste and is SO disrespectful. I think John is hot but depressed and drowning his sorrows in booze. I also people should lay off Kate. She is not exactly dealing with a gentleman here

Think about how much money it takes to properly raise 8 children. It is a challenge on the salaries of a nurse and IT guy. The opinion here has value but there is more value in being in school and being with loving parents. I wish them the best

Nice hitting them while they are down. While they may be right, this is not the place or the time. While both John and Kate have their issues, they also BOTH seem like good people. However, John does not feel validated and is depressed. Kate feels like she is doing it all by herself and becomes a contol freak. How often does this happen in a relationship?? They should use this crisis as an opportunity to look within themselves and deal with their own personal issues. As soon as they sort themselves out (or perhaps before), they should get off the reality show and not be blinded by the money. I hear both are in many senses unemployed. I say get a job and use the money you have made wisely. Will they do it. Probably not.. But they should. As for the kids, it is not the best for them but kids are resilient- they will be ok
