Actually Jessie, I am a voracious reader. I've even read Piers Anthony's Mode series, twice, and virtually anyone who had read that can tell that is a real feat. I just must have had other things on my shelf seemed better than that one paragraph of immature teenage dribble.

Twilight is not the new Harry Potter. Deathly Hallows sold more in the first 24 hours than 3 times the entire first printing of Breaking Dawn. JK Rowling inspired an entire generation of kids to read and all Stephanie Meyers has done is picked up a few of her sloppy seconds. I bought Twilight ages ago because that is exactly the kind of book I like to read but I read the first paragraph and it was so horrible, cheesy and badly written that I've yet to pick it up again. As we used to say when I was a kid "Gag me with a naked Barbie Doll."
