Was I not listening to the same song most other people were? This isn't one of my favorite tunes anyway but ugh! Her vocals are weak, she was flat on some notes and this had none of the soul/feeling of the original. Paramour are ok but this clearly is out of her vocal comfort range. My friends and I doing karaoke could do at least this good (if not better) and I am not kidding.
Um Perez, you may want to fact-check that. I sure don't recall Amy leaving Evanescence. What I do remember is most of the guys leaving or being fired by the 2nd album. Moody wrote all my fave songs on their 1st album so this should be interesting. I like Carly's voice well enough live and think this sort of music would really suit her. So I am looking forward to this!
Ooh lots of haters. Somehow she struck me as neither sassy nor bitchy in the interview. She sounded bored to me. Who cares if Madonna was doing this first? Because Mae West was doing it before Madonna! Let's quit expecting Gaga to re-invent Western pop entertainment. As for her looks, oh come on: what's wrong with looking Italian? A lot of the top pop songs are done by established writers like David Foster and Kara DioGuardi. Gaga may not be in their league yet but this is her 1st album. I think she's fun :)
Seriously, how can people be so ignorant these days as to NOT know who Morrissey is? The Smiths were an amazing band for their time. That's like saying you don't know who The Doors or Aretha Franklin are. Sad, very sad.
