NO!! Everyone in AL does NOT feel that way. While I love my state, things like this sometimes happen which bring about much embarrassment. What a monumental waste of the state governments time. Being from Birmingham and now in Mobile and having friends from both, I can safely say there are many who disagree vehemently with this proposal and believe very much in EQUALITY FOR EVERYONE! Please don't judge us all by this.

I did give a lot (for me) to the Obama campaign and I have no problem with this. They did work their asses off to get him elected. And I am personally very grateful for that! A lot of them left lucrative jobs to join the campaign and are going back to a horrible economy where jobs are scarce. So good for them!
