P.S. Baton Rouge needs help too!! Brother in law lives there, he has power but says half of the city is still out. I fear this will be Houston as well 2 weeks or a month from now. Don't worry Tori, Houston has not forgotten you, we are advertising food banks for Baton Rouge as well :)
Perez! You are my hero. Thank you for posting this. I also live in Houston and food is so scarce right now. I'll tell you right now I'm going crazy living on crackers and water! Very few stores, gas stations, or fast food/ restaurants are open and I live in the busiest part of the city....Galleria.
First of all, I am from Houston, Texas. I haven't slept in over 3 days so on top of being completely exhausted, I am now super pissed. Who the hell does she think she is? She's not from here and she wasn't here to experience what we went through. And I'd really love to know where the hell she got her facts? Was it out of her ass? Or out of her brain that only contains 1 brain cell? The "certain death" warning wasn't delivered until last minute and while yes, SOME people are hard headed, buses did not leave half full. They were full beyond what they could hold. People took these warnings seriously. Everything was very well planned and managed by our Mayor Bill White and our Governor Rick Perry. Evacuations when so smoothly this time compared to Hurricane Rita. Most of the rescues did not even occur in Galveston, which is where that warning was for. Alot of them were in Houston and other neighboring towns that were asked to stay put and most of the very few people that stayed in Galveston we not of good health to even get out. All I have to say about her is that she is nothing but a white trash twat. Next time we have a hurricane of this size I'd like her to come here and experience the the amount of stress, sleep deprivation and chaos. And the heart ache you experience when you have to leave your home, your comfort area and everything you hold dear to yourself. You know what....just fuck her, she's not welcome in Texas. But Perez always is!
