***WHAT A DUMBASS*** Before you go screaming from the moutaintop that the Mormons are to blame, do your goddamn research. You would have discovered that the single outfit that contributed the most to the Yes On 8 measure's PR campaign was the heir to the Home Savings & Loan fortune down in the OC. But, what are you saying, that the ballot's passing was BOUGHT by out of state interests? How about a nice cup of shut the fuck up? The PEOPLE SPOKE and they don't appreciate the pink mafia telling them how to run their state anymore. What the gays didn't count on was Black and Latino voters choosing en masse to vote according to religious beliefs. So, now....WAAAAAAAH! FUCKIN' CALIFORNIA LIBERALS WHO DON'T GET THE VOTE THEIR WAY WILL JUST BITCH, MOAN, PISS IN THEIR DIAPERS AND WHINE TO THE COURTS ABOUT HOW IT ISN'T FAIR. Thanks for making a mockery of the democratic process, you fuckin' douche.
Its funny when David Lee Roth says outrageous shit because he done it with a wink and a nudge for 30 years. Kanye says the outrageous shit because he fucking believes his own hype. What a tool.
MARRIAGES as a whole should be abandoned by the state as recognition of a faith-based bonding ceremony. ALL MARRIAGES. Adam/Eve, Adam/Steve, doesn't matter at all. It comes down to civil co-habitation contracts, distribution of responsibilities, compensation, employee benefits...nobody should need the state or fed gov. to tell them their marriage is legal or not. Just define the parameters required for a civil contract.
If Jesus were alive today, he'd be a black street magician, sporting a 70s era super afro, eeking out a living performing card tricks to tourists on Times Square, and live in tenement housing in Brooklyn. He wouldn't have time to hate, because he's Jesus and has to feed his five kids from four mommas.
Sorry, fruitcup. The secular community forgets how the churchy crowds vote-as one large block. That's how this initiative got dunked. While they'll cross color barriers, they view sexual orientation as a choice. I was listening to KCBS in San Francisco last night, and they were equally shocked, some calling it the Bradley Effect. People were lying to the exit polls because they were afraid of backlash-afraid of being called intolerant and homophobic. But when the rubber hit the road, they went with their core religious beliefs...one where God's law supersedes the rule of Caesar. Am I surprised? Nope. The right didn't get the White House, but they decided to act locally.
Aside from that, BOO FREAKIN' HOO, YA HOMOS.
