Anyone who thinks that Katie's falling into a first time mother scenario or thinks that the kid is just so demanding is proving that they have literally no clue.
You don't let a two year old choose to be cold any more than you allow her to swallow bleach. It is not good for her to be in 30 degree air without a coat. If you are a good parent, YOU TELL HER SHE IS STAYING INSIDE UNLESS SHE PUTS A COAT ON.
Seriously, people, they can afford a sitter and leave her inside to make sure she is warm. Do they want her to die from pneumonia for more publicity or something? JEEZ!
