on Gossiping at the White House at 10:11 05/13/2009 as a reply on the comment by COCACOLAwow, harsh CocaCola...that doesn't make sense to me either. The point of trying to change laws is to convince the naysayers that it wouldn't end the world if Gay couples could marry...or any other change for that matter. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that what Lobbyists do? How are you going to get ANYWHERE if you only stick with people who support your cause? That makes no damn sense. Especially with the subject of Gay marriage when it is glaringly obvious that there are more people who oppose it strongly than those who support it. Otherwise, we wouldn't keep seeing the issue on the ballots shot down everywhere. The whole issue bothers me to no end because I just don't get what the big deal is? If I were able to be a voice that would be heard, I would push for Gay marriage to be legal in all States. It should Not be a State issue and quite frankly, it does NOT need to be voted on by the public. Unless someone can show me DIRECT PROOF as to how Bob and Jim's marriage is going to affect me or my family in ANY way...then I have no business voting on whether they should be allowed to. Period.
