They're both horrible human beings, and I find it incredibly funny that people are treating John like he's the scum of the earth while Kate is the apex of perfection. In reality Kate is on the road so often promoting the shit out of her show, going to the Today Show every other day, it seems, doing interviews, selling books, cashing in on her divorce, etc, that I hardly doubt she has much time to be with her kids.
I say fire 'em both and let 'em squirm.
