@Buck This country is NOT overwhelmingly conservative. Look at the last presidential election. This country is actually very moderate, which means that most folks will go for the conservative position on some issues and the liberal position on others. Politicians who understand this win national elections. Right now, among the Republicans I know Sarah Palin is about as popular as Ralph Nader was after the 2000 elections. Her supporters are very high profile and vocal, but there aren't as many of them as they like to think.
No, and I'm not getting one. But I might borrow someone else's. I love Sarah Palin. I think she's hilarious. Most of the people I know, work with and am related to are Republicans. And none of them like her. They find her threatening. You don't win elections by dividing your natural constituency, and she and her supporters are very divisive. She's a great pop culture icon though.
She looks wierd. Her body is way out of proportion, like someone who's been really badly photoshopped. Probably the result of liposuction. BTW, why is she famous? is it only because of her parents? Or has she actually done anything?
She is truly tragic. Very zombie. She must have been talented once, but now she seems stuck in this absurd Lolita act. Someone needs to tell her no one stays 16 forever. Or maybe she knows this but isn't allowed to venture beyond what has been commercially viable in the past. She needs to find an artistic identity beyond pop music, if she can.
I think maybe she should dress a little differently. There are things about the ageing process that no amount of diet & excercise can remedy, and should not be seen outside immediate family & close friends. And as for having a baby, she'd better get on with it, or get stuck using someone else's eggs.
I wish I had some of her money. According to her definition, I was sort of abused once myself as a child. I didn't get rich as a result.
