No you didn't, and I apologize if I implied that in my reply, I didn't mean that you did, I was referring to the comment made by Jamie Foxx. I can see why people would say Billy Ray is pimping Miley out because she is underage, but I disagree. I think this is something she's wanted to do and her parents are supportive of it. I don't feel in any way that she uses her body to sell herself, her appeal was there when she was younger and didn't look like a nearly grown woman in what she wore. Bottom line is she is past puberty now and will look more like an adult in whatever she wears. My children are huge Miley fans and I've never felt she was setting a bad example for them. Naturally, they don't read blogs, watch her on Youtube or read Vanity Fair (or whatever mag she is in) because they could care less. They like watching Hannah Montana and singing along with her songs on the radio and there is absolutely nothing vulgur or racy about either.

Wouldn't necessarily say you missed something but evidently our thought process is completely different. I wouldn't call what Billy Ray does with Miley "pimping her out". I think she's a young girl who has appeal to young kids and is using that as a way to live out her dream. How many girls her age would love to trade places with her? Does that justify the comments Jamie Foxx spewed on her? I don't think so. And I don't condone the relationship she has with her boyfriend because of the age difference, so I can't comment on that, but where the pictures are concerned she said when they were taking them she didn't feel that they were that bad, then when she saw them she was very upset with them. She made a mistake, apologized for it sincerely and moved on. And I don't know if you've ever been a teenage girl, but I have and I can tell you it's hard enough to be a teenage girl when you're at that phase in your life when you are outgrowing barbie and sleepovers but not old enough to fully comprehend adulthood and NOT be in the public eye, I couldn't imagine how hard it would be to have someone, much less an ADULT criticize your looks then recommend trying drugs and call you a bitch.

If Jamie Foxx would have left it at talking about her gums, it wouldn't have been a big deal, but everyone knows he crossed the line when he told her to go do a sex tape. That's just foul and unacceptable. And for people talking about Miley being a spoiled brat, so be it, she's earned the right to be a brat and I don't consider her "spoiled" since she's earned everything she has. I would hope most adults aren't huge Miley fans since her shows and performances are geared towards kids, but I know if I had the opportunity at 15/16 that she does, I would be living life to the fullest too. I've yet to hear her speak negatively about anyone and when she said the comment about Radiohead it was said jokingly and everyone took it and ran because they are dying for this poor little girl to fail. That's sad.
