You idiot. "Clearance" refers to sample clearance. All hip hop artists use samples from the last 50 yrs, at least, and must get clearance from the original artist to use them on their record. This is not plagiarism as it's usually paid for. i.e. if Will.i.am uses handclaps from an old Motown record, he must receive clearance from that artist or label that owns the copyright. Get over your vendetta against them and study up on musical terms before you attempt slander. And you call yourself a blossoming music mogul...
