The publicist is protecting Rihanna.
Not Chris Brown.
The entire situation - I would assume - is extremely embarassing for both parties. Rihanna will be labelled an "idiot" for being with a man who hits her (Especially a woman of her status. A small handful of people will believe that this is his first assault), and Chris Brown's career is obviously down the drain.
I actually feel really sorry that the story broke out - especially the way it did (Grammy's? Really?). It'll take a while before this dies down. The publicist probably hoped that the two would break up and cite it as an amicable split.
If she does leave him, it can be seen as an act of courage, and help Anna down the street who keeps going back to Woman Beater Wally.
It's unfortunate that this has happened to her, but this can be turned into a great movement for young women all over the world.
I agree with this comment so hard.
This show requires committment.
You need patience to watch it.
I seriously think about giving up every now and then, but when that episode comes on that answers an important question, I'm hooked all over again.
Wtf? What is that shit?
