The calendar is actually for charity. They team itself plays msot o its league games (they're in a 16 team division) in a 10,000 capacity stadium - the Stade Jean Bouin. This stands next to the 80,000 seater former National Stadium - Parc des Princes. I attended one of their matches in the Heineken European Cup agaisnt an Irish side. Beers were 7 euro - 3 euro more than in a local bar, their pink home jerseys were 150 euro in price - their rivals' jerseys are 80 euro max...a team of mercenaries who are famed for a boring forward-oriented game. They also let go their best player - extravagantly gifted Argentine Juan Hernandez..a veritable conjurer supreme.

The British Press have a huge right wing element. They called all Irish people "dogs" in response to an armed terrorist campaign carried out by about 300 people...and this from a population of 5 million - ridiculous. Ultimately, they will do whatever sells papers. Morals doesn't come into it. Read up on the "Carmen Proetta" case - and the scant regard of the Fourth Estate (5th?) for the Geneva Convention of Human Rights.

The UN is a disgrace. Over 70 % of the money it receives from government and public donations is psent on administration costs. Independent non government organizations are more adept at using the funds to help the world's poorest. Mariah has made more than enough filthy lucre, at least she's trying to help out with this scheme, I suppose...
