Good to give yes, but people look too much at how much was given. For so many this is a tax write off, and once you have everything you want and need, and then some, and you still have money to spare, its not so amazing that you give. Its all relative. Some people are barely making it, but still give what little they have to help others. Then there are those who make nearly a billion dollars and we want to praise them highly for giving a mere 10% to charity. Yes 25 mill is alot, but if you made 250 mil in endorsements, movies, etc and got a load of stuff free as advertisement, its not that big of a deal. I encourage charity, but people focus on the amount of money and not the amount of heart in the giving when declaring things such as sainthood. many people would have given a bigger portion to charities if they had that much, but they don't have it to give.
